Our Ideas & Additional Information
This is a link to the city's website http://www.geneva.il.us/
This is a running specialty store, so logo ideas should incorporate this idea. We'll use our logo for various media including letterhead, business cards, magazine and print advertising. We'll also be using it on clothing: shirts, jackets, sports bras, singlets, etc.

For #2, I like the "clean" look from it, but feel that Geneva is emphasized too much.

I like in #1 how the word "running" is in a different color and the text of the store name, but the text of the logo is too retro or exaggerated. I'm not ruling out the use of a shoe, but it's almost too cartoonish. Also, the shoe has some sort of ridges on the toe, which isn't typical with the imprint of a running shoe.

The 'O' in #1 needs to look more like an 'O', but I feel the shaped look will work, though.

The logo in #2 is too curvy and looks like he is skipping or hurdling. I like the nice look the shading gives.

I like the simplicity of #7. It has a unique logo, and highlights the Running aspect of our store, except it's hard to decipher that it is initially a shoe. I like that the wording flows, without spaces.

I like the inclusion of "GRO" in #6, but I cannot read the wording underneath from far. I don't like the flow from logo to wording.

Entry #3 is interesting, but needs to highlight the running aspect and be a little more simple

With #10, I know that it is a running store, but don't really know what the logo is. It has a clean and simple look

#9 is nice, and I like the shading of the logo, but I don't see the connection with the logo.

#8 is better than the previous version in the size of the words, but I don't think the runner guy is better. I would prefer a less cartoonish, less exaggerated runner. Seems more appropriate for a yoga store.

I like the idea of the logo for #14, but prefer a different font. Something like #7, #9 or #10.
I'd like to see the logo a bit smaller, though. There also needs to be a bit less going on, as it seems a bit cluttered.

I like the design of #11, but think that it conveys that we are only into "fast" athletes with te use of the winged foot and the association with track and field.

In #13, the font seems a bit off. The N and the A look a bit too funky. Again, the Geneva is a bit overwhelming and the Running seems under represented.

In #12, I'm not sure how I feel about the shoe design. It just doesn't seem like it's working. The Geneva seems a bit too big.

Before anything let me thank you for the feedback you have given to everybody is pretty important for us what the client thinks and really like, usually is better leaving comments in each designer's page because logotournament rules prohibit us to follow comments about our work in this main page, let's keep the good work.

I just got home, so I've done some prelim ranking, but will do comments and rankings in a bit. Thanks!
