fundsforumLogo Design Contest

I like this. It's vaguely reminiscent of the 80's - which is not a bad thing considering the demographic that the site is targetted at.

I'm wondering then how do you incorporate a sense of what the site is trying to do? Is there a way to do something with fundsforum, for example, by adding a symbol or tag to the name to then allude to the fact it is a social media technology? Difficult I know - but something along the lines of iBird (a contest on this site) that had a wireless symbol to connect to the fact it is an iPhone app (your wireless reference book for birds).
