General Comment to all designers:

- Thank you for particpating
- Some great ideas are coming in.
- We would love to see more creative ideas - we are getting lots of variations on very similar themes!
- Although we are engaged with climate change our focus is on the million $$ impacts on business so more business focus is required (less green BUT not all blue)
Keep up the great work - do not panic if feedback is not quick - we are on NZ time and we will get back to you.

Hi to all designers,
- Please note that we cannot have any risk of logo looking to close to existing brands.
- We have given feedback re FL being designed too close to FILA, F1 logos and have asked designers to come up with new variants.
We are not locked in on any design / design theme as yet - ranking merely reflects the best seen to date so do not be afraid of coming up with something new.
We would prefer this than 1001 variants of the same idea ;-)

We seem to have some safe fall back options based on text FL and main body text.
We still hoping to be blown away by your creative ideas!
Please don't be discouraged by any of our feedback, snippets of text never allows the pros and cons of design to be explained. And design is very subjective.

Hi All Designers,
In our original briefing we wrote:
"We are happy to see some inclusion of other colours e.g green (not dominant) or orange (not dominant)".
We have seen very little orange so far in the presented designs.
Also where green has been used it has been too dominant (some have toned it back - thank you!).
Maybe you could play a little with orange?

- Lower case : an ö (ALT 0246)
- Upper Case : an Ö (ALT 0214)
if that provides some opportunity for creative thinking.

For future new designs - we don't favour icons where the L is back to front. Please come up with ideas and new looks where F and L are the right way around.

Hi there all you talented designers.
We really appreciate the hard work and creativity you are all putting in to our logo.

So far we have some "nice" options however we are still waiting for the logo idea that inspires us 110%.
As engineers there is perhaps a danger that we have narrowed your creativity with our feedback.

In the last 36hours or so we look forward to your great ideas from both designers we have ranked and new entries.
