Our Ideas & Additional Information
The ideas of unity-in-diversity (among believers, and within the Godhead) and reconciliation (to God and each other) are central to who we are as a church.
Our current logo of the arches is taken from the bell tower of our church building. The rationale, written decades ago, reads "The three stone arches of our logo encapsulate the identity and mission of FCF for it reflects the communion of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who are united as one God in glory, love and mission. Jesus’ great prayer before His crucifixion was that His disciples would be one as the Father is one with the Son so that the world would know Jesus Christ. FCF embraces this prayer as our central calling and mission, “United that the world would know” is our maxim. The multi-toned stone work reflects the multi-racial, multi-cultural dimensions of our church which is united in one body with each stone being precious and vital to the whole and together with others rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. Hi designers!

In general, please avoid script fonts - serif and/or sans serif are preferable. Remember, we're going for a more masculine feel.

While we love to see designs based on our previous logos, we also love to see fresh ideas! Feel free to start from scratch based on everything else we've written!

Also, don't feel constrained to include the "Celebrating the Reconciliation" slogan.

Hi designers!

A few more general thoughts:

- We'd love to see more circular emblems, both classic (like an old seal) and contemporary. We've been around since 1980 if you wanted to include an established date.
- Somehow it didn't make it onto the slider, but we favor simple over complex.
- Similarly, we favor higher contrast (mostly black and white) over lower (mostly gray).
- We'd also love to see more letterform designs (with "FCF").
- We'd love to see some imagery besides the arches and the cross - perhaps a tree, or a trinity symbol (triquetra, triquetra with a circle, trefoil with triangle), et cetera.

Thanks!
