Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

1st place - 50 points
2nd place - 20 points
3rd place - 10 points
4-6th place - 5 points
7-10 place - 3 points
10th on - 1 point

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

We like the way #6 and #7 look, but we're not sure if they work for our company. The font may be too futuristic looking. We think we'd like to see something with a more American feel rather than a "Fast and Furious" feel (if that makes sense).

Definitely like the color play of #4 and #5, but concerned about using too much red because red speaks heat and we are trying to convey heat management (i.e. headers run cooler with a ceramic coating).

Also, we are not very excited about using a logo with a black background. We plan on designing the website based on the logo and do not want to use black background pages. Every customer will also receive a decal (very big in the automotive industry), so the logo needs to work from a decal standpoint, too.

artiobg - we'd like to see #6 and #7 with a white background beyond the encircled lettering.

joombadoo - the logo is a little bit plain for what we are looking for.

Alexis - the logo felt too big

Thanks to all 3 of you for being the first to put something out there for us to critique!

To reiterate, we'd like to see some new designs with a more American feel rather than a "Fast and Furious" feel (if that makes sense), to see if that style would be a better option for us.

Thanks for your time!

Thanks for the updates. We definitely like the white background.

The font style of #17, #18 and #19 is very nice. It tones down the futuristic look somewhat. We also like the feel of forward motion with the font.

We also like the font style of #14 and #21.

We'd like to stay away from the piston and connecting rod look as many machine shops use that type of logo. If anyone wants to put a logo together with one of the items that we coat, we'd recommend a piston (without the connecting rod - the long piece) or a long tube header. Reference http://www.sporttruckdirect.com/Pics/PAC/PAC%20Headers%20Long-Tube%2072C2264%20Big.jpg (this is a header with a protective chrome-like coating on it) or http://www.ravspeconline.com/shop/catalog/images/mahle-piston.jpg (a piston). Please note that we do not own these photos. They are for reference only.

We'd like to see some options with "Performance Coatings" added as a tagline to the designs. The tagline should not overpower the "EnduraCool" portion. We are also still open to all new innovative designs. Thank you for the continued submissions.
