#1 #2 and #5 are not refined enough, though #1 has potential if reworked slightly- maybe not black background and a less juvenile looking font for the "eg"
I quite like #3 & #4 except for the font used for the "eg" its too clunky.

after talking to some of the girls who work for me, and getting feedback from around town, i would like to see some that say "boutique" or "shop" or similar, in the logo. i am not sure if i will like this but would like to see some options. Thanks to everyone so far!!!

~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

okay, i am not loving "boutique" in there. any creative solutions to expressing to the viewer of, say, our sign, that we are a clothing store without being quite so obvious?? its hard considering we have "garden" in the name- people often think we are a nursery or florist. hence, my desire to maybe just go with "eg"
