Color Preferences

ivory, black and PMS 317c

Our Ideas and Additional Information:

am looking for a redesign/update. store is moving to a new space, want an update but to still be recognizable. have always used ARGENTA regular as font. dont have to keep it but again, still want people to recognize us. "logo" was always the lowercase eg in a square. i like this but am not wedded. name was elsie garden but am looking to just go by "eg" as no one ever gets the name right. website is www.elsiegarden.com it will also be updated. new store is less eco-focused than website suggests. would be happy to see some ideas that include "charlottesville" as well as store name

#1 #2 and #5 are not refined enough, though #1 has potential if reworked slightly- maybe not black background and a less juvenile looking font for the "eg"
I quite like #3 & #4 except for the font used for the "eg" its too clunky.

after talking to some of the girls who work for me, and getting feedback from around town, i would like to see some that say "boutique" or "shop" or similar, in the logo. i am not sure if i will like this but would like to see some options. Thanks to everyone so far!!!

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

okay, i am not loving "boutique" in there. any creative solutions to expressing to the viewer of, say, our sign, that we are a clothing store without being quite so obvious?? its hard considering we have "garden" in the name- people often think we are a nursery or florist. hence, my desire to maybe just go with "eg"

so, i am relying on all you creative and inspired folks to help me out- thanks so much!!!!
