thanks, but could you possibly show me in the color i would need- pantone 317c? right now yours is a frontrunner for me, but i really need to see it as it would be printed. thanks again!

changed the color to 317c... i hope this more closely resembles the printed goal... thank you for your consideration thus far. if there is anything else i can do with the design, please let me know!

okay, i am still leaning towards this design but i would like to see it with "charlottesville" replacing "elsie garden" so that it is just " eg charlottesville"

also, could you do a version where the entire rectangle logo is a clothing tag?

thank you!!!

i have made the text switch with 'charlottesville' but i am waiting before submitting the clothing tag concept. we stick to a pretty strict code here, and the clothing tag idea was introduced by JDM. i have contacted them about their thoughts on my possibly using a clothing tag, but i can't in good faith submit a possible infringement. copycats are dealt with very swiftly and strictly, so it's best to talk to the other designers before taking those steps. in the meantime, i have made the first change. i should have more for you in the morning!

since all of the recent designs are script fonts that are outgrowing a box, i thought you might want to see something different... i never like to see the creativity go stale in a contest...

i totally get what you are saying about copycatting. my bad.
can you do #56 with the charlottesville. i am now leaning towards that color scheme. also, do you know if i choose you, would i get the logo in all colors or would i have to choose?
thank you!

i also really like #111 since it is the same thing, just not constrained by the box. i like the idea of using the boxed one on signage and the open one on bags....
again, do you know protocol here- would i get all of your designs or just the one winner?
thanks again

the color arrangements you asked for. there's no need to apologize for the whole box idea. sometimes as designers we get tunnel vision on a contest. it's sometimes difficult to break out of that.

regarding the variations, this is a delicate subject because we can't make it sound like we're making a 'back-door' deal. logo tournament only requires that we give you the .jpg and .eps files of the winning design. beyond that we are asked to be reasonable, so it becomes the discretion of each designer. i think everybody here believes in keeping the contest holders happy. if there are slight variations in the design (colors, etc.) it's usually not a problem (from what i've experienced and heard from some others)... where things get sticky is when the request is for multiple concepts and a body of work that is well above and beyond the contest itself. i hope this info is helpful.

would also like to see the black and cream with "charlottesville" as well as "elsie garden"

i am going to select you as winner, and am hoping that you will include all color variations and at least one with "elsie garden" and also the design that is not boxed in as i would like to use this on my bags. i do believe that these all fall under the category of the same concept so i hope it will be kosher.

congrats!
