Designers: Please read and re-read the descriptioin of what we are looking for. This is dominoes, (not dice) and we want to incorporate three suffixes : .com, .eu and .asia within the image representing and incorporating dominoes (ivory and black dominoes etc ..just an idea). Please be creative, fun, and exciting for domino players around the world..

#9 Our logo is DOMINOWORLD (not domino) and we would like to have the logo convey the message as a global gaming portal and subtly incorporate .com and .eu and .asia into the logo. We want this to be FUN, EXCITING, LIVELY and COMPELLING to bring players from all over the world to compete with each other (players to players) in the game of dominoes.

Thanks for the early submissions. I am looking for a FUN, HAPPY, PLAYFUL design which is not quite so "industrial". I am looking for the creativity shown by designers such as TAGG3R or TAHIA DESIGNS or CRAYONS .. amoung many other very good designers. I am happy to leave the color choices up to the designers (up to you) and remember that the design should bring the domino shapes into the logo shape. If possible, lets look at 3 dominoes with - . asia and a .com and a .eu on the end of each domino. I'm looking for an all incorporated in one logo. The words DOMINO and WORLD don't necessarily need to run together .. perhaps different colors for each word? SOPHISTICATION, FUN and SPORTING for people who like to play domino games. Keep up the good work ... much appreciated.

#24 I am looking for FUN, LIVELY and EXPRESSIVE (similar to some of your other contest entries). Please introduce some color with an element of sophistication and global appeal. Take a stroll through library and see if something there pops out which might be applicable for domino gaming. Thanks.

I'm not excited about the red and black in such large areas. These colors make the logo look very sinister and in some cultures this is not very accepted. I was just thinking of gold and red dots in the dominoes as a subtle suggestion. Let's use more fun and lighter colors with an emphasis on SOPHISTICATION, FUN and Player to Player excitement playing dominoes.

#34 The colors are fun and appealing. I would like to see sharper lines and a bit more sophistication into the FUN logo design. Lets see if we can make the lines "crisp" (please also remember we will use the designs for embroidery)

It might be a little more organized if you post comments under our entries though, as we get an email if someone posts on our own entry page. Clicking on any design gets you to the entry page of that designer.

Also: designers normally provide a small comment or explanation with their entry. Those comments can also be found on their entry page.

It's your contest though: organize it the way you like to! Just trying to help you get the best results for your money :).

ALL Designers:

Lets NOT use the slogan. I feel that it is putting pressure on the designs and I would rather concentrate on having a fun, sophisticated, and unique design rather than burdening your talents with the slogan unless you find it OK for your particular use. So, in general,NO SLOGAN please. We will concentrate on DOMINOWORLD.

Lets try these concepts without the black background. Perhaps another font and a cleaner look without the "funky" feel. I'm looking for a sharp clean (non fuzzy) look. If anything, please move to the side of sophistication and elegance.

All designers: I believe I may have not communicated as well as I wanted to.. I'm looking for sophistication and elegance. These logos are very creative, but I'd much prefer clean lines, contemporary and sylish. I'm not stuck on any particluar color so feel free to experiment. Let's move away from the "funky" stuff and look at elegance with an modern feel often found in the logos in your own portfolios. I'm not excited about the background colors behind the fonts and would prefer to see a clean font (maybe with shadow) but sharp and detailed. We need to bring in the fact this is a global enterprise where domino players around the world can come together to play dominoes between each other. We also need a .(dot) COM somewhere ... subtle. Perhaps burned into the end edge or plane of the domino or recessed in the word DOMINOWORLD? Just offering ideas.
