Denovo LawyersLogo Design Contest

We don't want a word-mark of the symbol of capital "D" as it appears to be too common. Denovo, in English, literally means a "New Beginning".
We are looking at trying to incorporate the 'new beginning' into the mark itself as the new Firm is the incorporation of an longstanding existing practice with new members to make a new beginning.

Guys, I am not sure how to post some images that I have seen on Logo Tournament's site that I like but I thought I jot down some example... if someone can tell me how to post images, that will help everyone to come to a design that meets my expectation

- VASCO Interiors (I like the diamond shape ribbon, with one side of the ribbon green, the other side being grey)
- Ear Nose & Throat Sydney (3 blue square aligned with a diamond array)
- Sugarcube - the matrix of a 3D cubical box
- Strategy Law - a guiding star in a round background
-TriAdd Venture Partners
- Bickmore Risk Strategies - again, this is the ribbon concept similar to VASCO
- Lot 12 Real Estate Group - again, the cubical concept similar to sugarcube, but I like it simple in this one!!
