Color Preferences
Letters we would like to see in dark gray. Icon - yellow / orange, goldfish real life colour.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
The idea is - goldfish. Gold fish is our family symbol and it lends it self to chinese mythology of two gold fish as symbols of wealth and abundance.
Oriental factor of two fish is not must have condition, but we are open to ideas. We think, if there is more than one fish, one fish should be dominant.

The fish should "swim" from right to the left. Type of goldfish - common goldfish. See attached image, we like this specimen.

Highly detailed fish, very close to photo image is not desirable. On other hand very abstract also will not work. It has to be somewhere in between.

Fish colour as real life please, but not many shades.

The gold fish part of logo will be used in other projects and as a family symbol, so it is most important part of the logo.

Fish should not be very long so it fits and looks well in a square space.

Thank you for submissions, very interesting. I just uploaded image off butterfly and lion heads, we like this type of techniques. Please google for images of "lion head logo" for inspiration on techniques.

Now I started seeing lion heads. Forgive me if I was not clear. We are after GOLDFISH, not lion head. Only you can look at lion heads for inspiration.

Thank you all for submissions. Some very good. What I understand now is that proportions of goldfish has to be right, otherwise it may not even look like goldfish but tuna fish o dolphin.
One suggestion - you may try to get outline/ proportions of the real goldfish from photo and then fill with detail.

I have not seen many "art-ish" atemps.

key points:
1) Proportions need to be right.
2) It is not a tuna, its goldfish, elegant, peaceful, not a predator.
3) Anyone else, just from looking at logo should understand that its a gold fish.
