What We Do
We build high traffic, high quality websites. We specialize in programming above all else.

Color Preferences
Our current website is www.codeworksplus.com We are not opposed to changing the color scheme on our site if a logo is done in a nice quality. Design is not our specialty, so it is hard to say what specifically we're wanting color-wise or design wise
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Programming/Code is our thing, design is not, so we're looking for something that expresses our mentality to someone interested in our work that is on par with the quality that we do. We're going to be having business cards printed up with the design on them and handing them out to clients, perhaps a letter head etc, so we want to make sure the logo will say enough to get someone interested in seeing what we've got to offer.

We regularly form partnerships with different designers based on the quality of their work and pricing, so we will have additional work available (usually 1-2 designs per week for a couple different designers) for quality designers.

UPDATE: We are interested in perhaps trying to make the CWP (or something close to that) brandable and stick out so we could just use the shortened version in places, but also show the full version on our website and certain locations. Other ideas are more than welcome, and as stated before we don't do design, so it's very possible you've got ideas that are better than what we've got in mind, and we encourage you to post those ideas as well

I've gotten a lot of great designs. The ones that I like the most are the ones with nice graphic work like on #'s 54, 55, and 60. But the most important thing is that I have something brand able (i.e the nike swoosh). Please post any questions on here. Thank you and good luck!

We've been getting lots of great entries, but nothing that has just jumped out as a clear winner, so we have decided to extend the contest. If we get a great logo submitted, we may call it early. Tonight we will make sure that every logo has some detailed feedback, and we welcome anyone who would like to submit revised drafts (or new drafts). We're really liking the route of #54, and it's pretty clear at this point to a few of the things we really like and a few of the things that aren't so hot in our minds:

* having CWP in the design AND having Code Works Plus written out (either in a separate area or connected doesn't matter)
* having the slogan isn't helping, it doesn't look that great
* lots of colors is just a bit distracting and isn't in the direction we want to go. keep it simple, use a few colors and just keep it smooth
* Random extra characters aren't what we're going for. We'd like to have the word/CWP there, and an icon/symbol that can be associated with our company. above all else, we're most interested in having a brandable logo that we can have someone look at and know who it is. we'll be putting this in the footer on sites that we work on, our business cards and advertising materials, and it's overly important that we can have the full version with Code Works Plus, or just show the symbol/icon and have them be interchangeable.

Thanks for all the great submissions, and we're really excited about picking a winner soon!

There was a black and white design that was submitted with 2 gears on the right side that was withdrawn and I believe put in the negative pile by my partner. If you can resubmit that, it was actually very interesting.

We've gotten lots of great submissions and are eagerly going through them. Right now we're testing out what looks good with our current site. If anyone would like to test some of their logos against our design to see what we're seeing, you can go to www.codeworksplus.com/testlogos.php and put in a logo, and it will redirect you to our front page, but with your logo instead of ours. We want to make sure that whatever we've chosen looks good with our current ideas. Thanks to everyone for submitting some great works!

Logo Designer
Hi. Just a question...what size should the logo be to be able to upload?

Thanks,

The logo can be uploaded at any size and the system will accommodate and make space for it.
