Color Preferences
- We lean towards light greens, orange, grey, blue.
- We are not keen colours that are too bold
- Open to other colour schemes beyond what has been suggested – a good design is a good design.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
- Chorus is the business name that conveys a meaning of togetherness and working collectively as one accord
-would like to see variation use of our business name as "chorus", "Chorus", or "CHORUS"
- would like to see our tag line as "Speech and Hearing Centre" or " The Centre for Speech and Hearing"
- We would like to see a variation use of "and" btwn Speech and Hearing (i.e. "&" or "+")
- Although not too attached to this idea, we like the idea of playing around with the word “us” in the logo: would like the “us” to convey a sense of community, without appearing American, as we are a Canadian company.
- The use of silhouettes and sound waves are discouraged – too cliché, unless able to incorporate in a subtle and not-so-obvious.
- looking for a clean, contemporary look that is brandable - we will be expanding the business to multiple practices
- logo must be stationary/letterhead friendly, as we will will be applying to our brochures, business cards, etc...

Hello designers!
We are a start-up company that has yet to launch. The winning logo will be the logo that initiates our presence in the market and carries us towards a long and healthy practice across multiple sites for the future. We look forward to all entries!!

Great work everyone! Just some general feedback so far:
1. Colour is definitely important in the logo and font colour, but we are looking for a logo that would also look nice in black and white since we would be faxing a lot of our reports to other professionals.
2. We prefer the look of “&” rather than the word “and” having looked at several examples
3. We would also like the word “Centre” spelled with an “-re” at the end and not “-er” (we are a Canadian company after all!)
Again, we are thoroughly impressed with the talent that is out there and want to thank you for investing in your time to help brand us!

It's never easy to make choices when the degree of design calibre is so high, however the selection will have to start with a process of elimination. We will begin to place logos in the "not-so-interesting" category” - this clearly does not suggest your designs are not good enough, in fact there are some really excellent pieces that just did not fit our objectives. We just wanted to thank all of you for your contributions. Keep up the great work with all logo contests you pursue.

Cheers,

Hello Designers,

There is a common use of "speech bubbles" being applied in the logo and we are enjoying the clever use very much. It would be interesting to see if we can integrate a hearing component that is just as clever?

Cheers.
