What We Do
We operate a pheasant hunting and fishing lodge in South Dakota/USA
Industry
Color Preferences
The lodge's main pheasant hunting logo has earthtone browns, tans and blacks. However, since this logo will involve fishing, it could contain blue to represent water and shades of green and brown to represent a Smallmouth Bass if that is an element of the design. It should NOT have dayglo or neon colors.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Yes. Attached is the main lodge logo as well as examples of other company logos that may serve as directions designers can find inspiration from. This is a primarily male group so the design should be masculine: bold font; could be all caps, but that isn't mandatory. Cursive, script or feminine type faces will NOT be a good fit. It should look sophisticated, regal. It should NOT look cheap or cheesy. The MN Twins Fantasy Camp logo is included to show how the client would like to incorporate their CRSL Brown/Tan CMYK logo in the design in some way (pheasant art with strong masculine all caps font): this is mandatory in the design. The Cabela's logo is included to show that an oval or circle with a banner could be part of the design. The Bass Pro Shops logo is included to show how a fish could be part of the design, but the designers shouldn't simply copy this look. The Eddie Bauer logo is included to show that designers who are strong illustrators could incorporate the fish (maybe a rod and reel), circle and all caps type into a design. The Beretta logo is included to show how type could be curved in a design. The Fiocci logo is included to show how a shield may work, especially if Fantasy Bass Camp also appears as FBC. The ESPN Fantasy Football logo is included to show how the NFL logo is incorporated in the main design. The Cutthroats logo is included to show how a fish could be stylized in the design. The Celebrity Hunt logo is included to show how perhaps the pheasant could be traded out for the Smallmouth Bass in an oval. I believe since the CRSL logo is horizontal, this FBC logo will generally stage in the same shape to accommodate the CRSL logo into the design.
