K, still waiting to hear from my client on adjustments, but these designs are excellent starts. I should have feedback Monday AM CST.

#68 - i changed up the markings on the fish and the dorsal fin to better emulate a smallmouth bass.

Special K, all four of your designs are being considered by my client...and they are getting input from their colleagues. I should have comments on modifications in the next 48 hours if not sooner. Great stuff.

My client decided that your Entry #5 is the "unofficial" winner. I say "unofficial" because this is the logo they selected, but they'd like a few modifications before making you the official winner.

Specifically, they'd like to see you stage the FANTASY BASS CAMP type to more closely resemble their Cheyenne Ridge all caps font. Do you have a font that is similar or in the ball park? If so, could you do a few versions...maybe one has FANTASY curved, but BASS CAMP all the same sized letters. Thanks.

Special K, I meant to also mention that you should go with the revised bass from Entry #68 in the final design...where you modified the dorsal fin and gills (now vertical instead of horizontal). Thx

As for the font. I don't have that one. Could you tell me the name of it? I may be able to download it from somewhere.

Also, did you wan the cattails behind the bass like in #68 or just the bass?

Special K, that is a custom font that was hand drawn for my client, but isn't available in "stock" if you will. I work w a graphic designer outside this contest who looked for it and learned it isn't one you can just purchase. If you don't have something close, I'll advise my client. No need to include the cattails, but go with the modified bass.

Ok. I can recreate the letters by hand or go off of an existing font to emulate the Cheyenne Ridge lettering. I will work up a few options and should be able to upload by 10 am CST tomorrow.

i went ahead and recreated the lettering of BASS CAMP to emulate Cheyenne Ridge. (#74)

Appreciate you doing so, but I gotta say I don't like it as much as your original font (looks too forced). That said, I'll get my client to take a look and get back to you.

i agree. i think that new text has a little too much character. the original font looks cleaner and fits a little better with the overall design.
