I initially entering the more illustrative version of the fish, since this present the bigger challenge and I wanted to be sure, I;d get them done before the contest went into the next phase. Please let me know your thoughts or if you would like to see any changes. I will be working of layouts and fonts too, so let me know if there is anything you would like changed in those regards.
Now that I have my base fish drawn, I will go ahead and do simpler line-art and stylized versions.
I tried to keep "Cheyenne Ridge" logo large and in proportion to the text portion of FBC so that it does not all but disappear when the artwork gets reduced.
Marcelo, thanks for your efforts so far. My client will comment on designs by Monday late morning, but I like the feel of many of these...smart use of the CRSL logo.
I have a few more logos, done in a vintage woodcut style, but I was not able to upload. I will not be able to upload until there is a ranking... even if it's only a temporary rank. The contest has moved into the Top 5 phase which means that only the Top 5 designers (not logo designs) will have a "submit entry" button available.
I look forward to your clients feedback, hope I'm on the right track.
I wanted to give you some alternate ways of illustrating the fish as well as alternate backgrounds. I wanted to show how the same fish can be done depending on what you might be printing on. Also, feel free to ask for changes or to see any combination of my design or styles. :)
