Hi! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked in the top 10. We like to earn points.

~~ NOTE: While in JUDGING mode, the designer ranked in 1st can still submit revisions.

We really appreciate all of the work you all are putting toward this logo effort. It is getting very difficult to rank.
Would anyone be interested in adding a twist? Initially our requirement was "no scissors", but if anyone would be interested in taking a stab at incorporating scissors, a blade, etc., it may be nice to see.
Also, please see if there is a way to not stress "Si", perhaps we should abandon "SiRAMO". It makes it almost appear as reading as two words, Si Ramo. So please spell "siramo" as you see fit in your logo idea.

just wanted to let you know we are going to exclude the excess entries, i.e. numerous versions, so we can more clearly rank them. doesn't necessarily mean that we don't like them, just aren't chosing that particular version. the submissions thus far are very impressive. looking forward to seeing more. thanks!

Alright guys,
I really like how things are moving along. Now's the time to think more abstract. Also lets try in the style of an Artists signature, or Siramo in a spiral and have the "O" encompass the font (just an idea). Think high fashion/ artsy fartsy.

***Feel free to add the word Scissors or Shears to logo ( Siramo Shears/ Siramo Scissors)***

We at Siramo want the owners of these scissors to feel superior, these scissors allow them to cut better hair which in return makes them better at their craft.

These scissors are a work of art on their own, we want the style of the name to reflect that. We are coming down to the wire with 3 days left on this contest. We have some great entries, I know if we work together we will blow all other scissor logos out of the water.

I am currently digging the logos that also include a symbol. Nike would be nothing without their Swoosh!

I am inspired by the Bauhaus Art movement, I'm a Vidal Sassoon trained Hairstylist, and my style of hairdressing is Geometric and Functional. I would like to be able to convey some of that into my logo.

O.K people, it's down to our #1 ( #164 ) and our #2 ( #184 ). They have what we think our scissor company is about.
There are things we like about both, not to mention aspects of all the other entries. I'm having such a hard time choosing. I know the perfect logo is out there. I'm so excited!! This site is awesome!
