Both, looking for a letter form mark. or at least I think I am. All I'm seeing is Wordmark. I want something that says expensive and Artistic. I want a logo that could be a stamp, t-shirt, a brand, not just our company name in a block font. So i like accents, symbols, something more than just letters. thanks for your creative voice- vmhaircut1
OK, so this is very abstract - but it is a sideways S with a dot - the dot being a face and the S being hair cut short on one side and still long on the other side-
Hi Tara, would you please consider taking your font from #26, reversing the color (black background) and putting your letter form mark with it? the font is likeable but i'm having trouble not reading "SRAMO". if you have time, please explore with that a little.
Sure- I'll work on cleaning up the text, separating the "i" from the "R", and I'll thicken up the letters a little. I am still looking at some different font options, so I should hopefully be able to submit a few more variations in the future:) Thanks, Tara
Taraform, thank you, thank you! You're concept is definitely the front runner. Out of all the logos that you have designed for us which are your top 3? Could you please add the word Scissors or Shears to the Siramo Logo? (SiRAMO shears / SiRAMO scissors)
Hi Tara, going to add to the long line of requests....sorry!! (still looking awesome though) Regarding the "S"...which gets cooler to me every time i look at it, how about if you made the end somehow resemble hair a little more? eg. if the long end was tapered like a big curl, or perhaps if it "fanned out" like hair, etc. am i making any sense with that? Please see if you can toss that around a little. Thanks again so much for all of your fantastic entries!!
the font on #147-146 is not my favorite and i feel the letter mark is losing it's abstract quality and becoming to literal. I think I like your original "S" lettermark, I just wanted to see the left side of the S tapered to a point.
Hi, thank you - I changed the original S logo and submitted #163 and #164. I guess I liked the fonts on #146 and #147, but I agree they are not right for this brand. I think #151 stands out the most, the logo still resembles an "S", and the curvature implies movement, so it is more of a dynamic logo than the original S logo. Plus, it does not require a hairline (the gap in the S on the right side) for it to be obvious that it is supposed to be hair. The font is also distinct enough that it can stand out on its own without the logo (if need be); so both the logo and the company name are recognizable as individual elements. Thanks, Tara
hey Taraform, could you please make a revision on # 164 ? I would like the "O" to be regular size and not have the accent. i think that may be the ticket.
Hi Tara, Can you please make one more minor adjustment. Font, etc. all looks great. Could we please see the letters brought in just a little tighter....just a HINT. Also, please bring the S down...just a HINT. Thanks!!
...BTW if we could see that today. We'll probably go ahead and select our winner....if you catch my drift. thanks so much for all the work you put into this!!
No problem - I just submitted a revised version with the spacing changes (Entry #321). I'll be checking this site frequently so if you want me to make any other changes, I should be able to get a revised version to you very quickly. Thanks, Tara
Looks like everything increased in size (Compare #321 to #318). #318 is great, we just wanted 2 things to happen, 1. the letters just ever so slightly tighter, i.e. closer together. 2. the abstract S lowered ever so slightly. Let me know if that doesn't make sense.
still looks a little big. the font in #318 is still smaller, and the abstract S is smaller as well. Again, if you could just take the exact image of #318....and do those 2 steps. I think we'll be finished at that point.
Great- thanks so much! I think I was actually the first designer to submit an entry- the description of the contest sparked my interest and I really enjoyed working on this one :) Thank you, Tara
