To all designers - the earth tones mixed with the red color is not working out. Please try to focus your designs on red, black, white, grey ... also if there is a way to make the abbreviation CYFF protray images of several components of agriculture (growing food, livestock, etc.) & networking people (such as using the Y to represent people) and the C (as part of the leaf) please do so. The round shape sometimes makes the logo look cartoonish. There are not many hours left ... we have enjoyed all the entries so far and look forward to receiving some great revised layouts throughout today.

Thank you for your update. Unfortunately the "Y" as a person was first done by fandoank in entry #8 and therefore belongs to him and we are not able to use that idea.

everyone has been including outlines of people in there designs, would like to see designs without people.

i disagree... I don't find the two similar at all!

Unfortunately, the designs do not need to be similar in order for an infringement to occur. Please see below:

"The general rule is that, if a Designer was the first to submit the idea, they essentially own that concept or idea for the remainder of the contest." and Morningdesign knew this before he submitted the entry and chose to infringe on another designer's concept anyway.

Morningdesign also had 24 hours to remove the design in question and still remain in the contest but again, chose to let the community decide and unfortunately the consequences of losing a Logocourt is that the designer and all of their designs are removed from the contest.

Regretfully Morningdesign's decisions have impacted you as a contest holder and I understand your concern. If you feel it was the wrong decision, you are welcome to contact support for assistance.
