Our Ideas & Additional Information
Palm Springs as a city has gone with a mid-century modern feel for its image and that fits well with the city. I have attached a images that incorporate that feel as well as the logo we had the last time we were in Palm Springs for this event four years ago.

Dear Designers,

Thank you for your submissions. Please consider adding an option with a mid-century modern feel to it, similar to the samples I posted.

Also as a reminder, Palm Springs is in a desert. It does have an oasis, but there are no rivers, oceans, or other large bodies of water. Please also note that there are no tall buildings or "downtown" feel in Palm Springs, it is really more "village" like than "downtown".

Thank you again for your hard work!

Dear Designers,

I got an image of a CA Fan Palm native to the Palm Springs area that would be the preference for us as far as type of palm tree featured in the logo. The image is available at: http://www.whitfillnursery.com/uimages/palm_trees/california-fan-palm.jpg

One of the key features of the CA fan palm is its fatter trunk.
