Dear Yeya,
Thank you for your submission, nice job on the mid-century look.
I like the colors in #30 the best, but would rather see the desert in the front of the building like you have in #27 and #31 rather than the water.

Hello,

Here is the option of the logo you liked but without the water in front #36. I also uploaded one more option I was working on #37.
I hope you like the revisions and please let me know if there are any adjustments or options you would like to see!

Best regards,

Hello,

Here are a few more options!
Mainly I tried a few different styles for the palm tree #55, #56, #57, #58, #61. There are a few different thicknesses and a few differently styled crowns. I made more color combinations #59, #60 and #61 as the other color option for a previous #27.
If you prefer one palm tree to be combined with the other landscape or color option, or you have any other suggestion please let me know.

Best regards,

Dear Yeya,

Thank you for your patience in awaiting our response. I would like to see if you would refine submission #59 a bit. We need to fix the palm trees. The ones in the logo are still the wrong species.
Please use a silhouette of the native desert fan palm, also known as California fan palm (Washingtonia filifera), not 'date' palms as are used so far in the logos. The native species has leaves shaped like the palm of your hand, they stay on the palm to form a very nice shape, forming its skirt. Photos attached. The non native date palm has leaves with a big long midvane, shaped like a feather.
Here is an up-close view of the leaves: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uAfUTfJ_TBo/TSROKyebs3I/AAAAAAAABtg/OWXFlQCYH3c/s1600/Washingtonia+filifera.jpg
Here is an image of the top of one: http://www.palmspringslife.com/images/Blog2006-02-24fanpalm.jpg
Here is a sample of some in silhouette: http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lkzoa28oxF1qerrk2o1_500.jpg
I would like to see a version with these trees.
I would also like to see a version where the "sign" does not have the top "CA" portion, making it so the top of the sign is "Palm Springs".
Can you change the font style of "California Science Education Conference" to the same as the font for the same text you used in #33?
Thank you so much for your time and your submissions.

Hello,

Here are more options with the California fan palm. I made a few different styles for the crown, with different density of the leaves #62 and #63 that is the same but with lighter colored smaller leaves in the back so it looks fuller but the leaves are still distinctive. Design #64 that has a bit fuller crown, and for the three designs I tried differently shaped "skirts".
For the sign I removed the top part with "CA", and changed the font of the name like you suggested.
I hope you like these revisions, and please let me know if you would like to see any adjustments!

Dear Yeya,

Thank you for the great revisions! We all agree that the palm trees in #64 are the best. We would like to add the water in - they feel right now it looks to "hot", so can we add the water to #64 like we see it in #55? They feel it looks a bit like a swimming pool, of which there are a lot in Palm Springs.

Best regards,

Jessica

Hello Jessica,

Thnak you for the feedback!
I made more options with the pool in front #65 similar to my previous designs with it, and two more #66 and #67 with a pool in perspective so it may be more distinctive.
Please let me know how you like it now and if you have any suggestions!

Thnak you,
Yeya
