Color Preferences
Base color of rust / color associated with actual bricks is our first preference, although we’d be open to exploring other palettes.

Few rust color references of shades we like.
http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/richchestnut
http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/grandcanyonred

Open to accent colors that are neutral and/or blend well with the base color.

PLEASE NOTE: This logo will sit alongside another logo (the real estate brokerage), which is gold and black, so please ensure they are not too similar, but also do not clash against.

DO NOT LIKE: Purple, pink, yellow/gold, fluorescent colors
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We don’t want to see the word “Brix” taken too literal (picture of bricks). Not interested in seeing graphics of house with white picket fence or any other generic logos often created for real estate.

We like hard/clean lines, architectural elements, but till want it to feel welcoming.

Like simple, refined, and classic, while still being unique and interesting and illustrating our tech knowledge and innovative marketing

Thank you to everyone that has submitted so far! We have seen some really interesting concepts and have provided feedback that we hope will be valuable.

If you look at all of our ranked logos, you will probably see some similarities:

1) Clean, sophisticated font choices. We do not like bolds, italics, outlines, or anything too "loud" or unrefined.

2) Minimalistic design and/or design with some type of architectural element (like a column). While we don't want the logo to be too complex and would still love to see clean / simple submissions, we'd also like to see some exploration of architectural symbols like the following.
Compass rose: https://www.google.com/search?q=compass+rose&espv=210&es_sm=91&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=G6NuUtr_IMTAyAHWt4FQ&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1256&bih=653
Door knockers: https://www.google.com/search?q=door+knocker&espv=210&es_sm=91&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=LqNuUqSrGoOcyQGX9IGYCQ&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1256&bih=653 (nothing with lions :)
Columns: https://www.google.com/search?q=architectural+symbols&espv=210&es_sm=91&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=R6NuUtrlFoKiyAHqiIGABw&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1256&bih=653#es_sm=91&espv=210&q=architectural+columns&tbm=isch

3) We are happy with the rust color options, but if anyone has a good alternative, we are totally open to your creative ideas.

Thanks so much again! We look forward to seeing more great designs.

We really like the stacked columns / brick looking objects in #8. If anyone has any ideas around this idea with the following edits, we'd love to see them

1) Different font. Something more refined / sophisticated / less techie and bold.
2) Refine the graphic a little. Something about the proportions just don't seem perfect. Maybe smaller/thinner. Open to ideas.

Thanks so much!
