Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:
~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation. ~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered. ~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see. ~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested" ~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation. ~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work. ~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.
#15, #19, and #20 are nice but a bit too cliche; we're afraid they'll get lost on the page, so to speak. We feel a mixture of these with something more creative, like #5 and #6 would work well.
To clarify our original intentions, we are looking for a logo with a bit of impact (which #5 and #6 have more of) with the more refined style of #15, #19, and #20.
i just wanted to mention that we haven't seen alot of emblematic designs, as our original specs indicate we're interested in. The logos so far have been excellent, but we'd love to see some more emblem-based logos as well!
These emblematic designs are much better. We would like all designs coming in to be emblematic from now on as they will be printed as patches on t-shirts.
We would just like to emphasize that this will be printed in places where gradients can't be printed. It would be nice to see an alternative version without gradients so we know there is a version to fall back on.
We extended the contest because the client changed their mind about what they wanted at the very end. They now want red and black logos and gave us the references listed in my above comment.
The new submissions are very good, and we're very excited about what everyone has to offer!
