An abstract pictorial of fist position in martial arts. And this pictorial is also represent the word mark of B (Brampton), M (Martial), and A (Arts) once in a shot. Perhaps this pictorial is uneasy to read at a glance, but that's why we call it an abstract mark. :), well you tell me your opinion about this.
This is very nice! We'd definitely like to see more of your work! The typography is very strong, yet profesional. The abstract mark is very nice, in my opinion, but we'd also like to see some variations on it, if you're interested!
My new revision based on your request for an emblem logo. I add the swoosh referring to "C" for Centre, that also convey a movement.
I keep playing with solid color (no gradient) to make this logo easy to use on your martial art uniform, as we know a gradient logo would rather hard to implement on it. (Reference entry #44).
These are working very well. We'd like to see a couple more, if possible, that are going in a different direction. I'm not sure how well the abstract mark is working within the confines of the emblem. Generally, emblematic symbols are much more balanced.
