General Comments -

Very pleased with initial results, though none is what I want yet.

Definitely liking the braid effects, please continue developing that. Open to a third color in braid effect (gold?). Designers may want to check out this link on drawing braids:
http://psp.tephras.com/tutorials/braids/index.html

Blue should be the dominant color, green more of an accent. I would like to see a darker blue, is it possible to come up with a distinctive blue that achieves my goals (and would not copy - but might evoke - other tech companies like Intel, Dell, or IBM?

Like to see the tagline included, though the logo (without name or tagline) should be strong enough to stand on its own. Open to alternate taglines. Tagline could be changed to "Weaving together..."

Not that thrilled with any of the fonts so far, but don't have much specific feedback. I like the straight-forwardness of the current proposals, san serif is good, but something more distiinctive...

Entry #9 - like the braid, but something seems off about it, can it be made to look more 3 dimensional? Use blue and shading effects?

Entry #11 - weave is nice, try making blue dominant.

Entry #14 - rope effect is interesting, circle not so much. Ropes & knots seems like an interesting theme to work on, check out the "monkey's fist knot" online...

Entry #3 - liking it, hope above comments are useful.

Entry #7 - like the celtic idea, and there is a lot more to play with there. These old symbols have meanings I think, any thoughts about something that has a historical content? Or something that we may want to stay away from because it evokes religion, superstition?

Hope this is helpful,

Hi, I've been reading about the Celtic symbols and from what I've gathered, no one knows for sure what they represent because they were never documented. Basically some of the Celtic knots have been associated with certain symbolic meanings. When enough people recognize a design as standing for something - a symbol is born. When choosing a Celtic knot for personal use - ask yourself what it means to you. Since there are hundreds to choose from, it would be helpful if you could give us an idea of a shape you prefer.

This is a wonderful process, great fun, and I appreciate everyone’s efforts – I guess we really only have 3 of you jousting at this time. Steady improvement going on, I've re-ranked. I'm still liking the braid motif best so far, but we have a ways to go yet and I want to be clear that I am not yet wed to any approach.

I just read the very helpful ranking tips post for CH’s by bugy and have dragged some of the designs out of the bin, not because I find them more interesting, but to keep ideas on display.

The site is very slow to display and refresh, is that normal? And I’ll be damned if I can figure out how to get to see the designer comments attached to each design!

Point taken on the Celtic marks, PlanetKelly, I don’t have something in mind at the moment.
