Discussion

Client
#160 and #163 are potentially interesting, but you must spell our company name correctly.

Also, the slogan Know How seems too large.

It is not essential that you include either the slogan or LLC; use your artistic judgment.

#196 -- I would like to see some variations on this, especially with the word Badges NOT larger than the word Blue.

I also think that the slogan Know How may be a bit too large. It also sems to have too much space between its letters.

Thanks for this great submission; as you can see, we are very interested in it!!

#356 - Could you put the slogan in initial caps only? It is just too heavy/bold in all caps. and the kerning still looks to wide.

Client
#401 - like the logo/asterix. Font and AllCaps is still not hitting it quite right. Different font. Softer,
Slogan: Would like to see the slogan in softer font as well with initial caps. #196 in a variation maybe.
There is also a potential play with he word "edge" in there.

Client
#401 -- I'm not sure what my colleague means with his comment about the word "edge."

But I will say that I will be voting strongly against this design if you do not change ALL of the typefaces to a Sans Serif, AND use only initial caps on the slogan. (Know How, not KNOW HOW).

I think you misinterpreted my earlier not about typfaces to mean only the slogan, so you created many odd enries with the slogan in italics, etc. That is NOT what we want.

Same comments go for #451 and #453. These are close to winners, but not close enough.

Look at some of the typefaces that everyone else is using. Give use versions with initial caps, all caps, and all lower case -- BLUE BADGES, Blue Badges, blue badges

We want clean lettering with a good balance.

You have a real shot at winning this tournament, but you will not win if you do not adjust some things.

Thanks!!

#549 - color and star desing is good. Can you try to use lower case letters in the words? Initial letter in Capital might be a variation. Also keep the font true, that is, don't stretch or flatten the word Blue compared to Badges. Left aligned is good.

Thanks for your effort!

I would also like to see your "star" design used in a completely different way:

I would like to see blue[star]badges
the typeface should be very much like the typeface in #524 (notice that the letters b, d, u, and a are not completely rounded).

I also would like a version using the typeface like #524, with the word bluebadges superimposed on the star, and the star larger than it is now.

In other words, the star would be in the background and the words bluebadges would be written across the star and would extend beyond the star on the left and right.

It is difficult to describe clearly, but if you try one or two things, I can guide you from there.

Thanks. Your star is a nice balance of dynamics and restraint!!

#625 - I like this one very much EXCEPT that you reversed the star. Please flip the star left to right, so it is like almost all your other entries.

Thanks!!

#625 - In addition to my comment above, also please get rid of the shadow stars. I want to see one star only. There is already enough complexity and color... we need to not add too much.

#626 - Could you make the star more solid, less pale?

Also, the star should be revrsed.

Please also try to do something with my earlier request:

I would also like to see your "star" design used in a completely different way:

I would like to see blue[star]badges. In other words "blue badges" with the star between the two words.

Thanks!

#666 - Could you make the star smaller, please? I have in mind about the size of the star in #664, or even smaller than that.

I would also like to see one in which the star is no taller than the letter "b"

Thanks!

#665 - The star still looks too pale.

#636 - The underline is not evenly spaced from the bottom of the letter "g" (the gap is larger n one side than on the other).

Also, could you make the upper right tip of the star point to the top of the letter "b" as it does in #633 ?

Thank you!!

General comment -- I think it looks better if the lower right tip of the star does not touch the blue underline, and the underline should not extend to the left of the words. (It looks good extending to the right to cover the slogan)

Client
#664 - Could we see this one without the underline, and with the slogan smaller so that it fits to the right of the letter "g" without extending beyond the end of "badges"?

Thanks!

#665 - It seems to me that if you moved the star just a little to the left, you could make set its colorsat full intensity without interfering with the words. Blue letters would be on top of gold parts of the star and gold letters would be on top of blue parts of the star.

#675 #677 #689 -- These designs are not going to work out. Please do not put any more time into these themes. Concentrate on your other leading designs.

#633 AND #769 - May we have a version without the underline?

Client
#771 - Raise the star a little higher. It looks to low and that makes it seem to have less motion.

It may be OK if the upper right point goes above or over the "b"

Or, maybe the star just needs to be a bit smaller.

I think what bothers me is that the bottom of the star is so low compared to your other versions.

#633 AND #769 - May we have a version without the underline?

And thank you for #822. I think it is a great improvement!

Client
#831 and #838 - Could you separate the words just a little bit, so that they are not touching each other?

I'm not sure it will look better this way, but would like to have a look at it, if you have time.

Whew! That was a stressful finish.

We presently have you ranked #1. But our decision-makers still have to convene, discuss, and decide a winner. I personally think you might improve your chances if you were to submit new versions of #822 , #846 , and #856.

For each of these, I would like to see slightly different colors. the blue should be lighter/brighter, and the gold should be more gold and less red/orange. For examples, see #861 and #610.

Many thanks!

P.S., We will take at least several days to decide. We may decide as late as Saturday.

#865 - #869 and #875 -- When you adjusted the color as we requested, you also added a small space between the words blue and badges. We want it to be bluebadges for these entries, with no space added.

Thanks!
