Bill's River Pilot ServiceLogo Design Contest

Provides transportation to and from ships.

I would like to see: Blue, Red, White, Black
Would not like to see: purple, green, pink, orange, yellow

This business provides transportation (by van) to and from ships docked along the river. I would like to use the business name in the logo, with "Bill's" being small across the top "River Pilot" being the largest font, and a little smaller font "Service". I would like to use an image of a ship, anchor , compass or ship's wheel in the design (most likely a ship being the best image to use.) Possibly you could use a fleur-de-lis and incorporate a ship and/or anchor into the fleur-de-lis, that would be nice if you could pull it off. I would like it to look very professional, not too cluttered. Please note the logo will be used on the side (door) of each company vehicle, it will also be used on letter head and on clothes (hats, shirts). So while the logo on the door will be big enough that it could be more detailed (busy), the logo that will be used for clothes will need to be more simple, or either a simpler version of the main logo.
