BeervanaLogo Design Contest

We’re two craft beer aficionados and homebrewers who are trying to start a craft beer bar and kick off a craft beer revolution at a place with long history of boring lager beers.

We like fun and cheerful colors that make a statement such as orange, yellow and purple. Beer comes in all kinds of colors from light yellow, through red, brown and black so those are good ones as well.

Wiktionary defines the word beervana as "Any place where good beer is available in abundance.")

One idea that we have been toying with for days now is to have our U-shaped draft system with 12 taps http://www.micromatic.com/sites/5/images/content/289545.png drawn as the outline of the logo (our tap system will have a copper finish instead of chrome). Our bar name, Beervana, would be inside/underneath it and the word would be formed from beer flowing from each tap and forming the letters. We were thinking the beer from each tap could be of different color so as to portray the diversity but we are not sure how that would translate in the logo itself. A nice touch would be to place a drip tray below and insert it in the design. As Beervana stands for some kind of beer nirvana, there could also be some sort of aura or halo-like feature around the upper part of the logo to depict that.

Alternatively, we were thinking the letters could be made of or placed in different types of beer glasses and be filled up by beer flowing from the taps but now we're maybe getting way too creative and crazy.
