Hey everybody. Thanks so much for the designs so far. After looking at the first 38 and talking it over w/ our team we think we'd like 2 human figures to be a part of the design. The focus of the organization is Mentoring, 1 person walking along side another to help them through difficult life situations. If you could all try to incorporate 2 figures in future designs we'd appreciate it.

Thanks again! Keep up the great work!

One other clarification, the "of City on a Hill" is a part of the name, but does not necessarily need to be a focal point of the design. We do want the text included, and like some of the subtle hints at the hill that we've been seeing, but "City on a Hill" is the name of ATLAS' parent organization. That is to say, ATLAS is one of 30 organizations w/in City on a Hill, so we're looking for a design specific to the ATLAS mentoring aspect of the organization.

Sorry for any confusion. Thanks!

Hey everyone. Thanks for the all the designs! Keep em comin! I do have a question for the Designer community. I know that ranking is valuable to you all and gives you points/credit of some kind so I want to rank as many designs as possible to give you all credit for the work you've done regardless of whether your design ends up winning. I also want to keep the contest flowing and give good direction. If I move designs that I'm truly not interested in as a potential winner, can I still rank those designs after the contest is over? I don't want to offend anyone, and I also want to give credit where it's due so I'm hoping that I can begin moving more designs into "not interested" but rank them after the contest is over. I'd appreciate your thoughts and want to make the designers happy!

ATLAS,
yes, you can still give out ribbons at the end of contest for the "not interested" if you move those back in...We are not offended by the "not interested" selection...we understand this is your way to guide us in a better direction...and we appreciate any points you give us for our efforts.

Thanks VIDI, that's helpful. I will be clearing more designs into the "Not Interested section" but will rank every design submitted after the contest to honor each designer for the time spent. Thank you all. Keep up the good work!

EXTENSION: Hello everyone. We have decided to extend the contest to allow for some artists to try a little different approach. We feel like we're getting closer so thanks to all who have submitted so far! There are 2 concepts in particular that we'd like to see fleshed out a little more. #1 - hand imagery. One of the things we say often is that "ATLAS exists to give a hand up, not a hand out". We'd like to see more designs related to that saying. #2 - road imagery. We appreciate all the focus on 2 figures per our request in the the first comment, but think the name ATLAS and what we offer our clients lends itself well to the imagery of 2 people walking together toward a goal.

A couple other notes:
-Human Figures: when designing figures to represent people we'd prefer the use of 2 figures to multiple figures since our mentoring is 1 on 1
-Fonts: we prefer simple modern fonts as you can tell from our preferences up to this point
-We realize that achieving a modern look w/ a literal meaning without coming across as cliché is a difficult task. We appreciate your efforts!
