THIS FIRST IDEA CONSIST ON USING AN AFRICAN SYMBOL OF friendship and interdependence THE "ESE NE TEKREMA" SYMBOL THAT MEANS "the teeth and the tongue" The teeth and the tongue play interdependent roles in the mouth. They may come into conflict, but they need to work together.
Thanks for your designs CreativeMind. I like your idea to use symbols w/ meanings. Here are my thoughts: Entry #5 and 6 - Although I like the concept, I'm not a huge fan of the "ESE NE TEKREMA" symbol. I feel like the symbol is too central in Entry #5 and #6.
Entry #7,8,9,10 I prefer the symbol to Name balance in these designs (vs 5,6). Although I actually really like the lighter colors visually, I think for practical purposes (use on letterhead, etc...) bolder colors might be more what we're looking for (Entry 10 is probably the boldest/closest of the 4). I like the Hope symbol and think it has some potential. Any other symbols that you think might represent us well? Also...could you be sure to include the "of" in "of City on a HilI" in the designs?
Thanks for all the designs so far. Your font you used for #9, 15, etc is one of our favorites. However, after talking it over w/ our team we think we'd like 2 human figures to be a part of the design. The focus of the organization is Mentoring, 1 person walking along side another to help them through difficult life situations. If you could try to incorporate 2 figures in future designs we'd appreciate it.
