#5 Can you try something with a different font and wording in uppercase. Not too sure about the all lowercase look. Also could you try to incorporate an abstract mark which is IT related?

#14 - looking for something a little more hi-tec, the graphic looks blocky like from old style Atari games.

Has anyone visited the NVIDIA website www.nvidia.com? I like the clever use and original idea of the abstract mark, and the text looks clean and really complements the logo.

In my eyes the logo I am looking for should look good and be able to stand out on any background.

#9 has caught the idea of the NVIDIA font, i like the font, but maybe something a little bolder/wider type faced.

I am still open to all new ideas as I am not seeing that WOW factor I am looking for yet. Keep up the good work people!

Hi Mare thanks for your submission.

One thing I have not seen from many of your here is several variations of logo ideas so that i can see how you think creatively. I like the fact that bens submitted 4 logo variations which really helps me to understand and take a creative direction to work from.

I am still looking for some WOW factor in designs so that I can piece something together and develop and work together with the designer(s). There have been some interesting submissions, but currently nothing really grabs me as WOW and makes me want to move the contest to the next level to develop upon.

Would be interested in seeing if any of you could take either one or all elements of ASIMM (Advise, Supply, Install, Monitor, Maintain) and create a unique mark that symbolizes that to see if that can take us in a different direction.

More squares, less circles and lets try some other shape forms too!

#41 i like the concept of involving rca plugs in the design but that is more audio related. it certainly is creative. The more I see asimm in lowercase on the designs the more I am convinsed that it needs to be in uppercase ASIMM. Also designers please note that I would like to see a space where possible seperating ASIMM and IT.

Keep up the good work everyone the designs are coming fast and varied now which is reassuring.

There is still a lot of room for creative designs so keep them coming please!

Just thought I would update you on the contest.

I have now ranked 3 designs which I like over the submissions I have received so far.

It is to be noted that whilst these are my preferences out of what I have seen so far, they are still not what I am looking for. I have taken the time to review the portfolio of the designers which have submitted entries to this contest and a lot of you have very creative imaginations.

So with that in mind I would like all designers to have a think at how they can take the designs in a new direction. Please send me a message if you need to ask me anything.

I appreciate all the hard work and time that all designers have committed to this contest, your help is very much appreciated.

I vector god will be making many different designs and all of them you will LOVE. However I will not submit them untill 1 hour is left of this contest. I know what you like as I seen the nivida logo. I have done designs in all directions and even some amazing ideas. Secured, Hitech, serious.


Do you want reflections in in my one design u have left of mine? Reflections wont show that good in white. What color background do you plan to use this logo for?

Primarily the background will be white however there is a good chance it will be going on other backgrounds for marketing/print material etc.

I don't mind reflections but they have to make a significant improvement on the logo for me to keep them in the design.

More clean looking designs like this are welcomed (please do not interprete that as designs which clone the look, I just want new designs which take on the feel of the clean and professional look of this design, both single and multi lined designs welcomed)

Hi to all Logo Designers,

Can we have more variations of different design ideas and restriction of 2/3 variations of similar designs please?

There have been several ideas which have captured the feel of what I am looking for but there is still plenty of opportunity here for all designers to submit more designs.

I get the feeling that most of you are holding back until the last few hours of the contest which would be a real shame as I have not found that perfect design yet.

Keep up the good work all, I appreciate your hard work especially Mare who has submitted lots of work!

WOW I seem to have got a lot of design ideas from other logo contest thrown in the mix here. It is worth noting to designers that I am not interested in any ideas which have been used in other designs, the reason is because I have looked at your portfolio's and the portfolio of logo tournament and any designs which I liked I would have mentioned earlier to point you in the right direction. Whilst I appreciate that you may feel they may be appropriate for this contest as they are good designs, I am looking for designers to be unique and creative.

Any ideas which I find have been used previously for other contest will be ranked as not interested! I am sorry if this offends any designers, but I have clearly stated on many occasions that I am looking for something which is unique and want creative designs not used elsewhere!!

Designs that i have submited are used only in contest and nowhere else couse they didnt won and they are unique for shure! I've submited them just to see your coment on each icon to find out a litle bit more about what you like and dislike and if you think that just your brief is enogh for us to design a logo for you, you are on the frong track. No offence but your coments are not good, take a look at some other CH's coments and you'll know what im talking about. The way you are runing your contest for me is just like shooting with blanks.

I realy dont know what you are looking for and i think i was vaisted my time on this one so i will submit no more.

what sort of guidelines do you need?

well, you need something hitech looking? You kind a made a remark about something usuall or unique. Youve change what you wanted many times. Theres no diredction here nomore. I need direction. You need a path for use to design on. Many on here are with drawinging and frustrated. The first one upon thelist looks like broccli or a veggi. what colors you looking for? You want a logo or a logo type or what? Plz try to beless broad.

VectorGOD, how have I changed what I have wanted when I have stated that I do not know what I am looking for?

To answer your question: Yes hitech looking is required as we are a technology/IT company, but not too hitech like startrek or alienish looking.

I want either an abstract mark or a word mark which must identify us as an technology/IT company.
If an abstract mark is used I would prefer some clever use of a design which shows us as an IT company if used on its own and will be unique enough (and not look like anything else) to identify us as ASIMM IT if used on its own.

I like greens (lime), Yellows (bright/neon), blues (sky/aqua) with some use of black.
I prefer bold clean looking fonts (i like the nvidia font www.nvidia.com) which must not be too fancy or difficult to read with even spacing between letters, and a distinctive spacing between ASIMM and IT, also uppercase is the preferred format.

The logo needs to be technology/IT looking and show a professional image, instill security, reliability, honesty, professionalism, service excellence but be clean looking enough to invite customers to approach us.

Can you work with that?

As I have always maintained I have no clean Idea for you to work from or any mascot or other logo to provide you with ideas like some of the other tournaments do. I simply do not know what I am looking for and will not know what I am looking for until it has been designed and is staring me bluntly in the face I cannot be any clearer than that, all I know is that eventually there is going to be a winner of $500 and you have to be in this contest to win it.

It is easy to blame me as a contest holder but I have provided feedback where I can both in this room and personally on logos, as well as via private message.

I have always said I can be contacted for further information but until now know one really has, I have only been asked to check out designers portfolios and if I see something I like to let them know and they will design it for me, however I have not seen anything which I want to use in this contest which has been used in a previous contest and to be fair I do not wish to receive a handed down idea, I am looking for designers to look at the ASIMM IT contest as a fresh idea and make a design based on what the company does and the vibe they feel from it rather than trying to adapt a design idea which they originally envisaged for a completely different company/tournament. That just is not the inspiration or creativity I am looking for and is the reason why you probably all feel that this contest is going no where.
