Not to name names, but I have found that many of my ideas often get stolen or copied when I submit early. Sorry for the delay, but I have found that submitting late works the best.

I know what you mean kn, that is why i stopped ranking and have only just re-instated ranks. I found when i ranked that i got lots of similar designs but nothing new.

I quess i will not wage war tonight? Contest extended? There has been a war treatie for this time being. Im canceling the war. To all designers. I think it's best that desinger can not see other designs by others untill the contest is in judging. That will ensure there willnotbe any intentional copys of stolen ideas or revisions. Contact the website owner and let him know. Each contest should have 3 folders, one folder of the not interested artwork, one folder for the withdrawn, one folder for interested.

I cant belive its been extended. I really was going to submit 22 new logos. I quess Ill wait then. VectorGOD

Lee, I honestly think that if you couldn't find what you wanted out of the final submissions then I'm not sure you will find it at all. There were some seriously great designs in there - very slick and modern. Can you give some very accurate feedback on some so we know what they were lacking? Or some further information about the very "essence" it is you are trying to convey through the logo?
My first design in this contest got the feedback it was not professional (a design loosely based on a simm card) - I'm still not sure why it was unprofessional. Anyway I just feel that there are a large number of very professional logos for ASIMM IT and some more info for us to push new concepts would be appreciated.
Are the designs too sharp, complicated, ....etc?? What "something" is missing. If you can give us more to work with that would help (me anyway).

No those are not of my 22 logos. My 22 logos are like war weapons ready to be fired upon the dead of night for that last hour of battle as it weakens. I wouldnt dare to mist my 22 logos to be copyed or revised by those intimidated. lol. LEE you should choose #282 that is a clean, bold, hi-tech, it style logo. I hey that logo thats asimm IT!!!

The tournament has not been extended to get more design ideas.

This is my first tournament and it was due to expire at 12am my time and I knew I would not be around to witness the end.

I have now got a good understanding of what I want and the extension was just to make sure that I got all the changes imputted before the end. I wasn't sure if I would be able to ask for changes after the tournament expired.

I will be contacting tyler to explain the situation and get the tournament end date changed.

Sorry for any confusion, I just want to be able to talk to you guys about the designs I like before the tournament ends.

You should learn to find out more about the circumstances before you offer your 2 cents worth.

I have not had any private messages from either of you. You would get more of a personalised response and insight if you opted to contact me that way as it sends me an email telling me that you want to contact me, rather than just assuming that I will be reading all the posts in here. I do not have the time to sift through the designers banter to pinpoint messages relevant to me all the time and so private communications are much preferred.

Whats the policy on withdrawn logos? Do they keep the same entry number when they are re-submitted by the designer or am I supposed to move the logos showing withdrawn in them to the not interested section??

Does anyone know?

I have shortened the contest extension. I would drag the withdrawn logos into the not-interested pile.

All the latest submitted designs are of great quality and at the level I have been looking for, I wish i had seen them all earlier in the contest as it would have definitley made things easier but I certainly understand the method of the designers madness!

Its going to be hard to topple kn's designs.! kn has really grasped what I was looking for at their first attempt, very impressive!

I now have the difficult job of looking over all these designs in the next 11 hours.

Keep up the impressive work and many thanks for all your efforts!
