Arrow Lawn Care, LLCLogo Design Contest

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design.
~~ When you provide feedback to designers, you increase the chances of getting the logo you want. More feedback = better results!

I am not opposed to character, pictorial and letterform designs. Needs to be easy to read and recognize. I will try to rank several times a day.

I would like the words "lawn care" to be a part of the design and not too diminished. When a potential client glances at our trailer, they should immediately recognize that we are a lawn care business. I know that "LLC" is optional on advertising, but my preference is to include the suffix.

A few reasons for my ranking:
#3- For incorporation of elements, creativity, visual appeal.
##21- For creativity, visual appeal, uniqueness.
#32- Originally against the idea of man with mower. This one, I like.
#16- Cleanliness, duality of the arrow/grass
#23- Can't really put in into words... I just like it.
#1- Reminds me of Robin Hood, which for some reason makes me like it.
#35 (and #34)- Bold, contemporary, incorporation of elements, visual appeal.
#37- Colors, visual appeal,"Arrow" has a huge-on-the-landscape feel.
#41 and #42 - Simple, clean, strong, friendly.

My preference is to keep "LLC" in the logo.

For designs with human and machine, we use push mowers and stand-on riders. "Wright Stander" to be specific. I always wear a safari style floppy brim hat. Don't know if anyone can use that info, but would be cool.

So many nice designs... it's going to be a tough choice. I am growing partial to red lawn mowers, if there happens to be a lawn mower in the design.

We haven't decided on a winner yet. I really don't know what else to say. I can't think of any suggestions at this point. Thank you for the great choices!

After much consideration, we have decided to do away with mowers in the logo design. We can add such things in designs for trailers and shirts and such.

I apologize for any confusion that may have arisen from my earlier post that we might add mowers, etc. to any designs later. I didn't mean to imply that any changes would be made to the logo itself. I meant that I could add to a t-shirt or on the side of a trailer in the overall design for that purpose, but not as part of the logo.

Because we changed the style of design so close to the end of the contest, I am checking to see if I can extend the contest for the 3 day period.
