Designers - I will not be ranking these immediately. As concepts come in I will be grouping them by "similar" ideas or layouts to make it easier to show to my client. Please do not get discouraged if you see your logos further down in the ranking column. I will not begin to rank until Day 3.

Designers, be sure your logos works on B/W also. No need to show examples. Just be sure they would work if done in black only in some applications.

Designers, please do no use the American Flag as imagery. Only the red and blue colors. This logo aight be used in Canada also, hence the name “America’s”

OK, we have received feedback from our client on the direction they would like to go after seeing multiple concepts. They have decided they do not want to be known as ATF as some concepts have done. They would like to see the name spelled out entirely. They would also like to see the name with AMERICA'S TRADES on the same line, and then FOUNDATION. They are not a fan of too many tools that do not represent ALL of the trades the have programs for at their schools. Instead, they want the logo to look for "scholastic". But not like a "seal" you would find for a university. First and foremost, it is a fundraising mechanism to help give away scholarships to students. They did like the look of a "gear" though in the form of a circle. They also liked the use of a mortar board representing education or graduation.

We are continuing to receive revisions, and also alternatives, based on the feedback from the client on Friday. Please do not be discouraged with ranking at this time. We will be presenting a other PDF to the client on Monday, with logos “grouped” by similar concepts, for them to further refine what they are looking for in their new logos as the continue to “refine” their purpose. After that feedback we should be able to determine the 5 designers & concepts we are moving forward with, ask for revisions, by moving into #1 position.
