Same with this one. Use an outline of a gear to form a circle stopping and starting at the same points you have right now. Replace tools with a mortar board.

This is hard to explain so bear with me. Instead of the circle swooshes, could that be an outline of a partial gear cog that is a shape of a circle. Beginning and stopping at the same points you have right now...approximately 11 o'clock and 4 o'clock.
Instead of the tools they would like to see a mortar board in blue.

Move tassel to the right side hanging off of blue. On the left side it looked like it was negative space until we realized it was a hassle. Client said it was hard for them to read TRADES FOUNDATION and would like to seee that a little larger. Maybe a taller, thinner font?
