^^please disregard those notes now. The client has decided they don't want a heavy emphasis on tools because it doesn't represent all their trades, only a couple. They like the mortar board better. I would just remove the tools entirely. Maybe make the lines on either side of FOUNDATION red.

Not understanding the heart design

The four squares make the mortar board cap look like a house. would rework that. perhaps the tassel on the cap is a wrench

Could you reduce the size of the graduation cap slightly and make the tools at the bottom slightly larger? Also, could you replace one of the hammers and incorporate a wrench?
