Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion.
~~ When you provide feedback to designers, you increase the chances of getting the logo you want. More feedback = better results!
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested." We'd like to know what you don't want so we can give you the design you do want.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ The first phase of the contest is the "Open" phase, and everyone can submit during that time.
~~ After your contest's initial "Open" phase closes, it will enter the "Top 5" phase; only the top 5 ranked designers will be able to submit revisions at that time.
~~ The "Top 5" designers are the first 5 designers in a contest, not the first 5 designs.
~~ When "Top 5" ends, the "Judging" phase begins. The designer of the 1st place design will be the only designer who can submit revisions at that time.

Yeah, I had some trouble with the not interested and ranking system early, but I think I got it more figured out now. Will be commenting more on individual logos as well.

I am a little surprised that no one has used any laurel wreath imagery thus far.

For those of you who have the "Alexandria Coliseum" on one line, if I could also see it stacked that would be super. And for those who have it stacked, if I could see it on one line. Thank you.

I am currently redoing the rankings, so things will be changing around a lot in the next several minutes.

You designers certainly do not make it easy to choose with so many excellent designs.

I am trying to make sure the top 5 designers are represented in the top 5. Some other designs by the same designer I like and I am working on those lower rankings too.

Now that phase one is complete. I want to thank all the designers that have submitted entries. I am sorting through them right now. I will rank the top 50 and dismiss the rest. I will send messages to each designer individually over the next several days. Please ask me for specific guidance if I am unclear.

Please note that only designers ranked in top 5 can submit logos in this phase of the contest.

It is my understanding that the top 5 designers can be changed throughout the course of the week. I am trying to sort through some great designs and I want the 10 developers who are left to get a fair shot. I will be reordering the list several times over the next 4 days. I have dismissed some entries that I found duplicative, or that I was not interested in. You do not need to withdraw them. I will be leaving some others in the un-ranked category and will be moving entries back and forth between ranked and unranked. If you have a design upgrade to submit feel free to message me and I will switch some things around so you can submit. I hope this makes sense and is in the spirit of the contest. If I find that I have hit a dead end with a particular designer, I will send them a private message, but make sure to rank them in my final results so they get points. If I am wrong about any of this, my apologies. I am sure you all will correct me.

Please understand that these are in no ways the final rankings. I have kept each designers logos together for my own ease right now. I will be PMing the designers individually in a few hours, as I must run out.

Designers, I want to thank you for all the wonderful submissions over the past week. If any of you would like me to extend the contest I can, otherwise I will proceed to the judging phase. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe I can only work with one designer at a time (whomever is in first). I will send private messages to each of you, but it does not make sense for me to have all ten of you still working on this. I am reading the ranking rules, but I think it works this way. I need three different designers in spots 1,2,3. After that I can rank out to 50 for points, but most points will be for first 10 spots. Thanks again.
