401(k) ReKonLogo Design Contest

Hello Designers. This is the same company as 401(k) Reconnaissance. We changed our name as a result of the previous contest to 401(k) ReKon. This is a new contest for 401(k) ReKon logo. Thanks.

Please notice the name: reKon. We are going to try and brand reKon (ReKon), so the logo must emphasize reKon as much as 401k, or even have more emphasis on reKon. Thanks.

I emailed a request to increase the prize to $300. I will also be extending the contest. Would like to see some different ideas.
Here is one idea. Try using () lightly around the K in reKon. In our industry, it is always 401(k). Having () around the K in re(K)on may allow a logo without 401. I can add a slogan which includes 401(k) or something to identify what we're doing. Try to work on reKon and let's see what everyone can come up with.

The lower case k, instead of K, is the k used in 401(k). We are leaning towards designs which incorporate the lower case k. Thanks.

The contest has been extended. I like the different styles of rekon. Now we can start adding slogans. Try adding 401(k) Reconnaissance, or Qualified Plan Reconnaissance as a slogan. Any other ideas are welcome.
You can also add 401k to the logo. Sharing the k in 401 and rekon seems to work well, as does the lower case k.
Although the clean look is great, I wouldn't mind seeing a few scopes or crosshairs.

I mixed up the top 10 over the weekend to see what kind of new ideas would be generated. The top 10 now listed are my favorites. My team will review and meet on Monday. There may be some changes to the top ten on Monday, and we will provide specific feedback.
Thanks for designs and creativity. We will start narrowing down the list on Monday.

UPDATE TO TOP 10: Our team voted today. #340 and #305 are tied with the most votes, #333, #317 have the second most votes. Then #142, #197, #267 are tied with one less vote than the first four entries. Others only received 1 vote.
We combined similar styles from designers. For example, 305 and 306 from adhouse are counted as one.

On Tuesday morning, our team will pick their two favorites as we narrow down the list again. Then again on Wednesday. We're trying to focus on the design, and not worry too much about variations. When we narrow down to 3-5, we may offer some final feedback.
MetroRetro Steve let me know he will be out for a couple of days, so we definitely won't finish the contest until Thursday.
For any new designers who want to submit entries, here is a suggestion. If your current entry is NOT TOP 10, then I wouldn't bother submitting variations. If you want to try something new, that is fine. If it doesn't make top 10, try something else. Thanks and good luck.

The top six places are separated by one vote. Tuesday's vote didn't change much, except KB 431 jumped up a spot. Everyone is now adding the logos. If 401 is in the logo, use qualified plan reconnaissance. If no 401 in the logo, use 401(k) Reconnaissance in the slogan. Make sure the slogan is large enough to be read. We have taken the final vote in our office, and we have a tie for first place between adhouse and Tudor. The remaining top 10 were ranked according to votes.
