Launching Brand U is a college consulting company that works with parents and high school students to prepare them for the application process and gain acceptance to their dream school. We help create the most unique and competitive college application package by working with kids as young as freshman in high school, helping them navigate their entire high school career (courseload choices, college visits, building activities resumes, interviews) and as old as seniors, who are late in the process and need last minute help getting their college application completed ASAP.

I would like to strike a balance of Red, grey, and black. Need to communicate strength and calm. The colors should reflect my love and passion for helping families navigate a very challenging process as well provide a sense of calm to parents who are typically very nervous in this process. While my business is considered education, and education loves colors, I don't want to use too many colors to look like the ABC's of a kindergarten class. It should be sophisticated enough to suggest that any money they invest in me will have a positive return.

The logo should immediately communicate college.
"Launching Brand U" has a double meaning...it means we help launch You the student but it also reflects the U of University. I can see leveraging a SIMPLE collegiate font, one you would see on sweatshirts for university's names. Please see font for reference...i like the shape of these letters not necessarily the color. Maybe you use this font just for the U in the conpany's name?

I'd love the logo to have some emotion, that you would smile upon seeing it. It can be a bit rah rah but not too far.
