I know it is an optical illusion, but can you move the s in consultants to the left a bit? It looks like it is beyond the U (even though i know it is not)
Hi! So i have received positive feedback on your logo. The one consistent feedback is that people don't love the graduation clip art. While it helps communicate college quickly (which everyone loves), they wonder if we can find a more sophisticated cap...we may not be able to and that is fine, but i wanted to share the feedback to see if you had any thoughts...for example, what if it were illustrated, hand drawn? I don't know, just wanted to pass that on. Thank you!
hmm, i kinda feel the opposite , i feel this showing of brand seems more 'strong' as to say, but thats what design is all about, people see different things :/
i really like this one. I like the colors and proportions. My only issue is that when the font gets as big as BRAND it does not feel as powerful.
I like the font in the word launching (bc it is smaller/compact) and in logo #302 but when brand gets this big, in this font, it just does not feel as dynamic or powerful. what can u suggest?
Perhaps there is too much going on now with BRAND being in the collegiate font. Can you put Brand back in the font style of Launching but have it take up as much space as it currently does? I like launching smaller (it could be even smaller) and I like the cap on the left.
getting closer for sure...seems like there is more white space in the U versus the letters of brand...could be an optical illusion since BRAND is smaller then u but can you add a bit more white space between the black outline and the red colors of brand?
yes, i see what you mean. I miss the grad cap in this version. What if you made launching even smaller, put Brand in the collegiate font, smaller than it is in this version. Can you then add back the cap?
I like this! Thank you. Now what I'd like to see is imagine "Launching" were half the height and Brand got bigger. How would you visually connect Brand U...
As you think about the logo...If i wanted people to read Brand U...what changes would you make? Would you minimize launching? How would you better connect Brand and U together? Would you put them in the same font? Same color and change Launching to a different color?
Hi! So, a couple of things...I'm not sure where the other logo treatment went but to this one, #288:
1. I'm concerned about printing costs...with two toned lettering, I think it's going to be costly, so lets go with Launching Brand as one color....not two toned which saddens me bc i think the two toned gives it brightness. Can you find a red color that is brightish but not primary color red.
2. The U should also be one color and i prefer the color that is on the top right hand side of the U because it is brighter.
The tassel/check mark on the left might work here. Thanks...let me sit with it.
Second, can you please change the diagonal
Third, what are your thoughts about ways to make Launching Brand a bit brighter?
A few things:
1. Can you alter the horizontal line...it should go from top right to bottom left.
2. Also, can you make college consultancy services read college consultants?
3. Can you try the check mark on alternate side so it dangles like a tassel?
4. now that we removed the shading from Launching Brand, the color feels flat, not as vibrant. What are your thoughts here?
Updates made as per request, apart from the diagonal shading, another designer has introduced that concept, therefore i would be in trouble if i were to start using it now, hope you understand :)
A few more thoughts: Can you try one where the tassel is not a tassel but actually a subtle check mark (maybe in gold). Can you make the U shading not an arc but a diagonal line from top right to bottom left? That would then mean we would remove the shading from Launching Brand and perhaps visually strengthen Brand (bold perhaps) so it is connected to U? PHEW. Thank you!!!
thank you for going back at this. i think it reads more like one. question tho...is the red in the U the same as Launching Brand..it seems like you put a gradient in Launching Brand...can you apply the same gradient to the U?
Can we try to visually connect the U with Launching Brand more? If you look at logo #42, I think the company name read more like one when the U was the same color as Launching Brand...can you try one where the U is red and maybe has a black outline?
Hi...i love what you have done...may i ask that you replace the shape of the u, with this shaped-U...i'd like to keep it grey with the white outline like you have it, i just really like the shape of this u...can you see it from the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UpUSssmOkNnF6R99fLrgTLhDxjO883g1/view
Thank you for trying to make it even better. I think I prefer it straight and was going to ask if you could make it just a bit smaller...I realize that it fills the space, but wondering what it would look like just a bit smaller
Thanks...I also think I prefer the U not filled with red...my reference to the lettering was for the shape of font, not necessarily to have it filled in with red.
I love having an icon versus the two parallel lines but it would be great if the icon communicated "college" versus launching a rocket...ya know? maybe a diploma (cheesy?), graduation cap (cheesy?)...what about some kind of icon that represents being accepted (like to college).
