What We Do
This is the three-yearly conference of the Vertebrate Pests Committee, an Australian committee of all governments (plus NZ) dealing with vertebrate pests (dogs, cats, camels, horses, cane toads, donkeys, pigs, feral fish, .....).
In 2011 it will be held in Sydney.
This logo will be used for advertising the meeting. It might be adapted for future meetings, but we are happy to go with a one-off one to advertise Sydney as the venue.
Need to include the dates 20-23 June 2011*****

Color Preferences
Green, maybe but the Vertebrate Pests Committee doesn't really have a set of colours.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
If using an animal, you probably need to make it generic, so that emphasis isn't given to one species.
I don't think Vertebrae are a useful image for us - many designers seem to have picked up a backbone as an element of the design. It is more important to have some thing eye catching that attracts people to the conference - thanks.,
