Leigh Anthony DEHANEY is a Czech based visual artist. Originally from Canada he received his B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Calgary (Canada). While attending the Alberta College of Art + Design and Mount Royal College he found himself drawn towards art history, linguistics and digital technologies. Dehaney's personal practice often explores conceptual portraiture within a derelict and contaminated world. His visual projects have been featured internationally, most notably with CBC's Arts Review (Canada), Gabrichidze Gallery (Brussels), Shufflesome (Germany) and Fotofest (USA). His three most recent personal projects include "1984+½", "Dystopia" and "Chronos" and all of which explore the ideas of futuristic artifacts, communication, and grey moments in time. Professionally Dehaney consults as a film+television "graphics dude".
