RSR Boat House
RSR Boat House is a virtual community (membership site) that offers all the lessons, tools, coaching and mentorship for rowers to improve their performance and grow as a person. It lives underneath the Ready Set Row (RSR) brand/company (www.readysetrow.com) and we want to be clear that we are available and present to support our members in physical, mental and emotional ways so that they can be their best version of themselves. We will offer college recruiting advice to juniors, nutritional advice, strength and injury prevention lessons, technical lessons on how to row better and cross train and most importantly, mental skill lessons to improve their mental game. We describe this as "building their internal capacity" and growing all the character strengths that will allow them to do hard things and pursue their goals. We use fire in a lot of our apparel - because it represents the intensity and opportunity for growth. We want the logo to show clearly that this is a collaborative and supportive community and though it's "virtual and online" it is like an actual place, a Boat House that offers all the great things about a great team sport. It will have a community forum for connection and support among members etc. We also need to look synergistic with the "RSR ELITE" logo - just the RSR needs to be the same and same colors. I LOVE the color slate blue that is #3E6284 I want that to be the added color to the Boat House. Most of the lessons are going to be delivered live - so we want to make sure it's clear that the brand is about connection and presence not "super pretty and expensive filmed videos that are perfect". The content is great and it's delivered in a super intimate/live way with coaches - not super fancy pants. Kind of like a crossfit gym where you aren't expecting it to be spotlessly clean - you come there for community and the work - you don't care that it's not "pretty" all the time .

The team is about 50 girls in high school and they compete for the summer national championship. We use the analogy of "setting yourself on fire" to communicate that they must willingly and intentionally go "into the pain cave" in our sport to win races.
