Slogan
Success is not the result of spontaneous combustion, you must set yourself on fire.
What We Do
RSR Elites is an elite junior women's rowing racing camp. It is highly selective, super intense physically and mentally where athletes learn how to be better and fitter athletes but we teach the mental skills that are required to reach peak performance. The team is about 50 girls in high school and they compete for the summer national championship. We use the analogy of "setting yourself on fire" to communicate that they must willingly and intentionally go "into the pain cave" in our sport to win races. The "RSR" comes from the parent company "Ready Set Row" see www.readysetrow.com
Color Preferences
"Ready Set Row" which is the parent company is red, black, white and we use grey.
RSR needs to be red and black and grey and white but would like to add a type of blue/aqua maybe so it's identifiable from Ready Set Row. Maybe yellow? The fire is a theme- so could be blue in the bottom of the flame?
Our Ideas & Additional Information
RSR is based on the concept of "set yourself on fire" or "the strongest steel is forged in the hottest fire" and our uniforms show fire - so we want the flames in there. I would like to add a blue into the logo - maybe the base of the flame? I want it to be different enough from the "Ready Set Row" logo (see www.readysetrow.com) which is the parent company. It's also a totally badass camp - where we "build an army of courageous young leaders" so there is a militaristic feel to it.
