Iron Canyon Cider House LLC is a hip and welcoming bar and lounge focusing on bringing high quality craft ciders to Meriam Park and the greater Chico area. Iron Canyon Cider House's main objective is to provide a meticulously curated tap list in a city desperately lacking in venues for patrons to consume and experience the truly vast world of hard ciders. As the craft cider industry grows, it has begun to experience existential growing pains as producers and the market as a whole search for standards and styles by which to define the burgeoning American cider industry. All too often smaller craft producers are left competing with conglomerate backed industrial cider producers for extremely limited tap space in more “beercentric” craft bars. At Iron Canyon our central ethos is to be a venue to promote and encourage smaller producers who focus on quality and standards through community outreach and education in order to positively contribute to the direction of the craft cider market in Chico. With exciting events, free classes, promotions and other enriching community oriented activities, we aim to not only enrich the existing cider enthusiasts in Chico, but also help other patrons who enjoy craft beverages learn what styles of cider they enjoy outside of the concentrate based sweet ciders that have given the industry a bad name for so many years. At our location in the up and coming Meriam Park Tank District, Iron Canyon Cider House LLC will be a fun, creative and friendly space for Meriam Park and other Chico residents to relax, socialize and experience authentic craft hard ciders with friends and family.
