What We Do
We are in the vacation home rental business and this logo is for our home named "Zapata Paradise" on Galveston Island. I would like to create a character name Zapata who will eventually takes on a personality of his own. I plan to use "Zapata" as the main character of a children's scavenger hunt at our airbnb. The character Zapata will be a part of the logo but not the main focal point.

The logo is meant to be catchy and comical. Zapata in Spanish is the name of a shoe cobbler. I envision "Zapata" to be a fun/goofy beach bum character that has torn clothing, one torn up shoe with his toes sticking out and no shoe on the other foot.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
We are in the vacation home rental business and this logo is for our home named "Zapata Paradise" on Galveston Island. I would like to create a character name Zapata who will eventually takes on a personality of his own. I plan to use "Zapata" as the main character of a children's scavenger hunt at our airbnb. Zapata must appeal to kids. The character Zapata will be a part of the logo but not the main focal point.

The logo is meant to be catchy and comical. Zapata in Spanish is the name of a shoe cobbler. I envision "Zapata" to be a fun/goofy beach bum character that has torn clothing, one torn up shoe with his toe sticking out and no shoe on the other foot. Zapata is a shoe cobbler who spends to much time on the beach rather than repairing his own shoes.

I like the words "Zapata Paradise" stacked with "Paradise indented left on the second line. I envision a palm tree to the right the sun on the top left. I was thinking about putting the home address numbers "22126" down the trunk with the character Zapata climbed part ways up the tree nailing in the last address number "6". I like the thought of the address numbers being painted on scrap pieces of wood of that washed up on shore.
I am also very very open to whatever design you can come up with. Feel free to scrap my ideas and present somthing stronger.
