Zamgood allows it's community of members to post their own test prep questions for any exam. It will be the fisr website of its kind - sort of like a testing wiki. Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

Thanks Jack! I know this contest is a little difficult to start with not too much direction, but it will take on a great path hopefully with my comments as people submit. On your submissions,
#2: seems like it just needs something more
#4: has much more and feels more logo-like but there's got to be a reason for those things being there... Not sure what they are but they look like boobs or eyes?! I like the idea of living up the logo but not sure if this is the way.
#3: it's in-between...

What were you trying to do with the enhancement in 4?

Other designers: please come up with your own ideas too... Don't necessarily this we need a version of these.

Maybe an emphasis on the Z would be good. We're going to use catchy marketing phrases like "Come join our online test prep community and get a Zamgood (insert logo) score! So, it'll sort of replace "Damn good" and thus an emphasis on the Z will help get this across.

I posted for each individual contested and wanted to summarize here for everyone.

I like the idea of a logo related image next to (or above) "zamgood" and I know it's hard to come up with one. Think of copnveying the following somehow: testing, high scores, community, sharing, even maybe anti-tradtional test prep (usually test takers buy from a publisher - now they can develop their own test prep products).

I also see where it's tempting to do something with the "oo". I'm not crazy about the ideas yet but someone might think of something good to convey the same things.

Thanks all!

Thanks again to all! OK, I think we definitely need a "!" incorporated somehow. After the word "zamgood" is fine unless you can think of something more creative.

Hi all! OK, I've pretty much come to the conclusion that it has to have a "!" afterwards. If you're ranked and you don't have one, please add and let's see what it looks like. I'm trying to provide individual feedback as much as possible... hope this helps! I've got a 9 hour drive today, but I'll check in tonight.

Please keep your originals up too instead of deleting them in case I end up liking the original better than the changed logo. thanks!
