Your Eyes LieLogo Design Contest

its possible to just use the acronym of YEL so either Your Eyes Lie or YEL, i like fresh, clean, crisp logo's, try playing around with the text and have a look in some magazine's like WAD or ID or DAZED AND CONFUSED for other similar brands adverts to inspiration.

remember guys, the logo needs to be more fashion orientatied, so sleek, elegant, contemporary, not so comic book

Think typeface, should be a unique Typography something clean, future...

You've still have over a week to go and you have been eliminating entries left right and centre taking this action so early in the contest will effect how many and which designers enter.. You've state that you are an upbeat company. Yet you've eliminate several designs that IMO suite your website and demographic.

From experience
and observation those Contest Holders who eliminate 80-100% of designs submitted do not do well in terms of quality and number of designers participating.

Feedback
is also an important thing you can do...without it we are designing in the blind. Which means maybe just maybe one of us who does enter (see above note) may hit the mark chances of that are rare.

You are not required to leave feedback for every designer however if you leave feedback to those designers coming close to what you are looking is done by; double clicking a designer image, this will take you to the designers page.

The tag line is "Bad taste is better than no taste" - yet, you are looking for something sleek, elegant and contemporary. This is all very confusing.

I have submitted eight entries and all marked "not interested" with no feedback.

the icon or picture part of the logo doest have to bear much relation to the name....think

an important thing to remember is that the logo will be used to attach to garments, and so the logo can't include any effects like reflection and so forth.

ATTENTION DESIGNER

Copying of other designer's art work is not permitted even if the designer has;

1. withdrawn
2. been eliminated from the contest
3. BANNED

I'm done. NO FEEDBACK????? Why do the ranked designs look nothing like designs that's posted on their site. Might be some dirty dealing here. ICIC, getting apparel ideas for sure.

Guys, a decisive contest holder does not a fishy one make. And of course no feedback is a pain but look how many entries there are....

sorry guys, its so difficult to find a design that im 100% happy with, which is why ive extended the contest, Immo0~ has some great ideas...also we recently had the birth of our 1st child, so im spread very thinly at the moment, which is why limited feedback, apologies for this..also in response to Jimhack, if you see the designs on our website are totally different to the logos's idea's here and i trust me, i wouldnt be able to sell a design with just our logo as the design, im looking for something special, special that can represent YEL, something that we can put of polo's, a logo that stands out, an icon that's orginal.

Quite frankly none of these designs are on the same page as Hellz Bellz , Hundreds, Jimi FingerZ, or Dissisit, or any of the other HOT brands that you asked us to to refer to. Zero.
