Hi Danez. Great work. I'm Laura's marketing department (brother) ha ha. This design has some really great qualities that none of the others have. At the same time, these other qualities make the logo more complex, intricate and potentially harder to use in collateral. Have you thought about what this will look like in B&W/greyscale, knock out etc? Being a non-profit company, our budget for printing is small and we do a lot in B&W. I wonder if you could take a look at the letters (YATL) and make sure that they are balanced and look good if/when we need to use them stand alone, versus with the other design elements. Sometimes it is necessary to use a logo in something like a 75 by 150 pixel ratio which this one can't accommodate unless we take those elements out.
Nice work! I cant wait to see if you are able to make these adjustments!!
hi Laura, nice position.. ahaha.. and thanks for your great feedback, i do understand what you mean about the logo needed, i always thinking how the logo will look like in different color setting, black and white and grey color even black and white with gradation, and i'll show you how it look like. i'll do some tweak
Hi Laura, I've done some adjustments. for design #60 #61 #63 , I adjust the size of 75 by 150 pixels, you can see, the details of the logo can still be read clearly. I tried to show the impression of "theater" (many characters in it) in the logo, and the use of multiple colors give the impression of cheerful. but everything is back to you.
Thank you so much!! This is Laura again. I love what you and my brother have been working on. Your work is absolutely fantastic. I have one thing I wonder if you'd mind trying for me..... While I like the fact that both faces present a pleasant emotion, I wonder if, for variety's sake, you could vary one of them to make it more of a contrast (nothing scary, of course) to the happy face. And just to make it more difficult, could you make the face with the broader smile the larger one, and the one with the alternate expression the smaller one above it?
Sorry if this is too much revision to ask, that's just the only sticking point folks are having, is they'd like to see something with more of a range of emotion.
