What We Do
Yakima Country Club (YCC), established in 1916, is a premier private golf and social club located just three miles east of downtown Yakima, Washington. Set on 117 acres, the club offers stunning views of the Yakima Valley, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Rainier. The club provides a venue for recreation and relaxation for its members. It boasts the best location of any local club, with an exceptionally maintained golf course, club house and pool area.
That said, the club is at a precipice, with aging membership and flat to little membership growth, the club needs a refresh to access younger members with families. The club has a perception locally of being stuffy, and unwelcoming. We're looking to modernize the branding of the club, to bring it inline with the nations best golf clubs and resorts, to drive interest, build meaningful merchandise sales, and expand the brand throughout central Washington. The logo update is intended to be a complete brand redesign that will be used for physical signage, web/mobile, and clothing.
We want this new brand to feel modern, accessible, and to peak interest in the people viewing it. We also want this logo to tie in fixtures from our Valley, which is heavy in agriculture, specifically hops and apples.

Current colors are blues and grays, but we're open to suggestions. Grayscale/black is also an option. Logo will be placed on merch, so flexibility is important.
