Top Three Things to Communicate
#1 - We provide veterinary services(mostly dogs, cats, horses, livestock and some wildlife)
#2 - Professional, corporate type logo (not too cutesy)
#3 - We work all over the world
Our Target Audience:
Volunteers (~20-65 years), mostly in the veterinary field
Donors-wide demographic
Groups we collaborate with-US Military, Universities, Animal Welfare groups etc.
Color Preferences
red, black and white are colors we like although we are open to other ideas
We would also like to get our logo in JPEG format
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
current logo can be seen at www.worldvets.org. We have outgrown this logo. What we don't like about it: a little to cutesy, implies we only work on dogs and cats. We are looking for eye catching logo that conveys the global veterinary concept but is appropriate for presenting ourselves to both animal rescue groups and welfare organizations as well as very corporate or serious entities (such as the US Navy, Universities and big corporations). Overlapping silhouettes of stock images of animals and/or pawprints is somewhat overused in the veterinary industry and we would like to avoid this concept unless it is unique and original. If a globe is used in the logo, maybe something that is somewhat abstract looking

Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
We would like the logo to have some kind of animal reference in it. With the name World Vets, people sometimes confuse the VETS for "veterans" rather than "veterinarians". Animals in the logo are good, just not cartoon-like
I like the concept of # 9 but not sure i like the globe. maybe a different type of globe? i like the V with the vet caduceus. also maybe a darker color to the snake that shows up better? We are still open to other totally differnt ideas without a vet caduceus...keep the ideas coming!
Hi CH, you can do a personal feedback by clicking in the images of different designer if you want. Thank you for your feedback i will do the changes. Thanks, Fernando.
I like what i see so far. keep the ideas coming. some thoughts for new concepts: 1. a stethescope in the logo where the "o" in world is the bell of the stethescope and the V in vets is the earpiece part
2. a hand cradling or holding up a globe/world,
3. more logo concepts with animals (maybe abstract looking?) in them
I'd definitely like to see some designs with animals-thanks! keep 'em coming! we'd like to have several different concepts to choose from...we're not set on anything yet. Thank you
any new, fresh ideas out there? our board of directors is wanting new ideas/concepts. we are not committed to any design yet. thanks for all of the great efforts and ideas!
OK the board of directors has looked over the designs. we definitely like what we see so far, great work! I have a request to see some designs that have abstract/brushstroke images of animals. maybe within a globe or stand alone? I'm not sure if I am describing it right...kind of Andy Warhol type images but not so colorful. does that make sense? pureprinting...you had an image in the Dog Knowlege contest ( a large breed dog of some sort) that we really liked. something like that.
I think I didn't describe it quite right. here is an example that i made from a black and white pic: http://www.worldvets.org/cow.html I was thinking of taking this kind of image (abstract/shadows) that has a rough outline/subtle imageof an animal and using it as the continents in a globe incorporated into the logo. I would especially like to see this in #84 and #63 (#87 too?) as well as any new concept designs that incorporate this idea. Maybe 2 animal images in a globe- one of a horse or cow and one of a dog maybe. It could be just the animals head or it could be the whole body. Looking forward to seeing your ideas.
Very impressed with all the designs. Several very good logos, but not a clear, unanimous winner. Still waiting for a design that we all agree on 100%. Thanks for all your efforts! Would still love to see more ideas.
Designers: I have mixed up the rankings during the judging phase so that I can get other people's opinions without influencing their decision. Final rankings will change when a winner is selected. Thanks for all the great entries!
